Heat across Europe is now hitting forty in a handful of cities. A warning was first issued in the Dutch when temps rose above seven-and-thirty, and officials have kept it in place through Saturday. In Amsterdam people are hanging curtains outside to keep the harsh sun out. The scorching weather is testing homes built for colder months.
