He was transported to hospital and later underwent surgery for a broken right clavicle, with a small C7 vertebrae fracture. The clavicle repair involved a plate. Gresini Racing stated he was conscious after the crash. Fabio Di Giannantonio took victory. Márquez will miss Mugello and Balaton races.
