Ethiopian runner Dera Dida Yami clinched the women’s title in 2:23:18 in Cape Town 2026. Kipchoge participated ending up 16th among elites. These results confirm Esa’s victory and Yami’s Cape Town 2026 crown. The men’s record for the course and wheelchair records were also set during the event.
