Jürgen Klopp has been officially named Germany’s head coach for Euro 2028 and the 2030 World Cup manager , replacing Julian Nagelsmann. Klopp called the role a unique experience after talks with the DFB . His appointment was announced on 24/07/2026 in Frankfurt. Klopp has warned the DFB he may quit immediately if press scrutiny violates his family’s privacy. The former Liverpool manager described the job change using a cinematic analogy when speaking of its impact.
