Evacuation alerts have been activated on the edges of Logan Lake, BC. Both the local municipal district and the town itself issued the notices. The Guichon Creek fire sits at 88 hectares. That one is not under control. Crews are actively monitoring it. Residents have been told to get ready to leave if conditions shift.

A separate fire near Monte Lake, directly adjacent to the highway, burned 12 hectares. Crews were able to suppress that one. It is completely contained now. The two fires sit within a bigger push to manage the wider regional incident, according to authorities on July 30, 2026.
