McLaren has held talks with Max Verstappen as the team seeks to return to Formula 1 the top step at three selected tracks. It will compete without its H-wing and is seeking greater confidence at Madrid.
Beyond its racing activity, the company plans to establish 1,000 jobs in the UK, backed by an investment of £450 million. A McLaren F1 LM carrying a value of $20 million was also observed on the roads of London.
