The New York Mets were pounded to the Atlanta Braves on Friday. Atlanta led from the start and held control all game. They jumped to a big lead before New York could get much going. Charlie Manaea struggled mightily, giving up eight runs in one inning alone. The second inning was devastating, with six runs. New York made a late push but Atlanta’s relievers kept them down.
