London police discovered a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the helpless animal on July 18. The animal was nervous and had no water while quivering. It withstood the difficult ordeal. Animal advocates described it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a previously unknown monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery came during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
