Residents on several streets in Wirral were awarded £1,000 from the People’s Postcode Lottery recently. The win was covered by the Wirral Globe. In Sheffield city four streets also received £1,000 each, according to The Star. Wales Online stated that eight streets in Wales each were given the same amount. A Ceredigion village enjoyed the same payout, as described by the Tivyside Advertiser. The lottery allocates the money to fund local projects where winners live. All payouts were made on the same draw publicised on Friday 26 June 2026.
