Peter Navarro, a adviser to Donald Trump, has asked Canadian lobbyists to avoid the U.S., according to various sources. Navarro's remarks were part of a larger warning advising Canada not to interfere in the U.S. midterm elections. The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has refused to impose additional trade pressure, despite Navarro's threats. The incident has sparked a diplomatic exchange between the two countries.
