Governor Gavin Newsom signed bills to limit Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE activities in California. The laws include bans on police using electrically conductive gloves and support measures for immigrant groups. These measures follow a recent case where a baby girl was found dead in a dumpster, leading to the arrest of her mother. The new legislation aim to address concerns about ICE operations and assist immigrant groups.
