SpaceX lifted off with a Starlink mission early on Aug. 25. The rocket flew as planned. It was the 37th time for that Falcon booster, setting a new rocket reuse record. The flight represented the 100th Falcon 9 launch of 2026. Morning skywatchers expected to spot a jellyfish effect overhead. Spaceflight Now and Space showed live coverage of the event.
SpaceX also set out to unveil its Louisiana plans on Aug. 25. Elsewhere, NASA positioned its next star space telescope atop a Falcon Heavy rocket. That launch is set for Aug. 30.
