Advocates who have spoken out publicly told journalists they felt “misled” after meeting the new acting US Attorney General Todd Blanche at a press briefing.

The session arrived after outrage over Blanche’s recent comments dismissing evidence of Epstein trafficking victims to other men that raised questions.

Donald Trump appointed Blanche last month following the election and has been hit with calls to resign raising questions about his suitability over his handling of the case and his approach to justice.
