Jasper Philipsen took victory in Stage 17 of the 2026 Tour de France in a sprint finish. It was his first victory at this year's race. The stage culminated in a duel between Philipsen and Mads Pedersen. Philipsen called the effort exhausting. The UCI upheld late-night doping tests conducted after the stage in response to concerns raised after the finish. Lidl-Trek outpaced UAE Team Emirates in the team classification. Jordan Jegat was less visible in the overall results. EF Pro Cycling issued a comment on the final result.
