STV will broadcast a special live programme from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow on Friday, focusing on the charitable efforts of the STV Children’s Appeal in 2025.
TV icon Lorraine Kelly, who has been a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since it began, will host the show. She will meet various individuals who have contributed to or benefited from the Appeal’s work during the year.
Ahead of the broadcast, Lorraine Kelly was seen wearing a kilt and scarf made from a bespoke tartan designed by Houston Kiltmakers, a family business based in Paisley.
The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan incorporates the charity’s signature pink, yellow, and blue colours. This distinctive fabric was developed earlier this year to support fundraising efforts.
Kelly said: “Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them."
The programme will spotlight three key projects that have received support this year, underlining the impact of the Appeal’s ongoing work.
