Queensland Weather

Most of eastern Queensland will experience milder than average temperatures tomorrow, becoming cooler further inland. The coast will stay mostly settled, with only a few showers along the north-east tropical coast.

Showers and storms tied to a low-pressure trough will move in from the west, affecting the far north-west, central, and southern inland areas. Some severe storms are possible in parts of the southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt.

Moderate rain is expected in the southern inland and far north-west regions. These storms might reach the south-east coast late tomorrow evening or overnight into Sunday morning.

A cold front will sweep through central and eastern New South Wales, bringing a strong southerly wind change along with widespread showers and thunderstorms.
