Riley Keough's mother, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away on January 12, 2023. Since then, Riley completed her memoir From Here to the Great Unknown and has experienced signs she believes show her mother’s approval.
As the third anniversary of Lisa Marie's passing approaches, Riley feels a deep connection to her mother through unexplainable moments. She shared these feelings at the Academy x Chanel Women’s Luncheon on November 4.
“I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere,” Keough told PEOPLE.
Riley finished her memoir after her mother's death, which captures her journey. She expressed a spiritual connection beyond this world:
“So, I certainly feel connected to whatever that world may be. I do feel connected to it, yeah. There are certainly moments that are very... too weird to not be something.”
The 36-year-old actress did not disclose the specific experiences but mentioned they will be included in the afterword of the paperback, releasing on November 11.
This is not Riley’s first encounter with such experiences, which she seems to attribute to her mother’s influence. Lisa Marie, daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, was only nine when Elvis Presley died, and she reportedly sensed his passing before it happened.
Riley Keough feels a continuing spiritual connection with her late mother Lisa Marie Presley, sharing signs and moments that affirm her mother’s presence and approval of her memoir.
