Riley Keough Feels Mom Lisa Marie Presley's Presence While Finishing Memoir

Riley Keough believes she has received signs from her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, reassuring her that she was at peace with how her memoir From Here to the Great Unknown was completed. The actress finalized the book more than a year after her mother's death in 2023 by listening to tapes of her recorded memories.

Connection Beyond Loss

The 36-year-old Daisy Jones & The Six star shared with PEOPLE at the Academy x Chanel’s Women’s Luncheon that she feels deeply connected to her mother's spirit.

“I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere. I really do believe that.”
“So, I certainly feel connected to whatever that world may be. I do feel connected to it, yeah. There are certainly moments that are very... too weird to not be something.”

Upcoming Afterword in Paperback Edition

Although Keough did not explain the specific moments she sensed her mother’s presence, she plans to explore this further in a heartfelt afterword included in the paperback release of the memoir on November 11, published by Penguin Random House.
