Rapper Young Bleed passed away at the age of 51, his eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, announced on Instagram. The hip-hop artist died on Saturday, November 2, following a brain aneurysm caused by internal bleeding.
“Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed! Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u.”
“I’m glad he went out in style!”
“One time fa the one time.”
Clifton posted a video along with his message explaining that his father "gained his wings" on Saturday and wanted to clear up "false narratives" regarding the circumstances of Young Bleed’s death, including his age.
Despite no known chronic health issues, Young Bleed experienced a spike in blood pressure at an afterparty following the CashMoney vs. NoLimit Verzuz concert at ComplexCon in Las Vegas in October. Clifton described the event as a natural occurrence.
Young Bleed collapsed and suffered a brain aneurysm from internal bleeding. He was placed on a ventilator and spent a week in intensive care before passing away.
Known for hits like "How Ya Do Dat," "If I Could Change," and "My Balls and My Word," Young Bleed was a prominent figure in hip-hop and No Limit Records.
Young Bleed’s death marks a significant loss in the hip-hop community, remembered both for his artistic contributions and the strength his family shows in carrying on his legacy.
