Glenn Clifton Jr., known as Young Bleed, was a rapper famous for his hit single "How You Do Dat" and his connection to No Limit Records. He performed at the Cash Money - No Limit Verzuz concert in Las Vegas on October 25th.
After the concert, Clifton went out with friends to celebrate and performed again, but later collapsed. His mother, Florida Allen, reported that he suffered a brain aneurysm that led to cardiac arrest.
“Before they could get to him, he was out of oxygen for a while, and that's when they told us that he had no life in the brain,” Allen said.
He passed away on November 1st at age 51, survived by his mother and five children. His son, Ty'Gee Clifton, expressed disbelief, saying, “Nobody ever expected him to, you know, not come home; he's never not done that.”
Before his death, the family mentioned he had no serious health problems aside from high blood pressure.
“I'm going to miss him, I'm not mad because he is gone, he left doing what he loved doing,” said Allen.
Clifton began his rap career in Baton Rouge as part of the hip-hop group "Concentration Camp," formed in 1995.
