Michael Bublé brought out the first-ever Mic Drop as the Knockout Rounds continued on Season 28 of The Voice. Coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé continued to trim their teams during the Monday, November 3, episode. Without any Saves or Steals this time, each choice carried real weight.
Each coach also had one Mic Drop to use—allowing a chosen contestant to compete for a special performance spot at the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day. Viewers will soon vote on their favorite Mic Drop artist once all four are revealed.
Snoop Dogg’s first pairing was between Toni Lorene and Natalia Albertini, whom he previously rescued during the Battle Rounds. Natalia performed “I Wish” by Stevie Wonder, while Toni delivered a bold take on “Lady Marmalade.”
“Natalia, your performance was spectacular, you’re gorgeous, I love your outfit,” Reba McEntire said. “I guess if I had to pick one, I’d go with Natalia.”
Niall Horan called Toni a “machine” and added, “The stuff you can do with your voice … there’s something special about you.” He and Bublé both said they’d “lean towards” choosing Toni.
“I am a proud uncle,” Snoop gushed.
As the Knockouts move toward the Playoffs, the intensity continues to build, with each coach making tough calls and saving their best performers for the final rounds.
