Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has spoken publicly about her past relationship with actor Jeremy Renner, asserting that he threatened, harassed, and intimidated her both personally and professionally.
According to Zhou, the actor allegedly sent her explicit photos and videos, engaged in aggressive behavior during their time together, and once threatened to “call ICE” after their relationship ended. She made these claims through social media posts and an interview with the Daily Mail.
"Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behaviour that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before," she said in one of a series of lengthy Instagram posts.
"He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship," Zhou continued.
"I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption."
Zhou stated that Renner had signed agreements with her production company but later refused to support or promote their collaborative projects, ultimately denying any connection to her personally or professionally.
