Blue-green Algae Advisory Lifted for Eagle Lake

Alberta Health Services (AHS) has ended the blue-green algae advisory for Eagle Lake, located southeast of Strathmore. This change took effect on Wednesday.

Reason for Lifting the Advisory

Previous Warnings

"AHS said boiling does not remove the toxins and urged people to use alternate water sources for themselves, pets and livestock whenever algae may be present."
