The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 will offer three days of thrilling cricket at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, Mong Kok. This year’s tournament features 12 teams competing for the championship from November 7 to 9.
Returning for its 21st edition, the Hong Kong Sixes showcases the unique six-a-side, six-over format. It combines explosive hitting, agile fielding, and continuous excitement for fans.
Each match features two teams of six players. Every team bats for six overs (36 balls). All fielders except the wicketkeeper bowl one over each, with a single player permitted a second over. Batters must retire not out upon reaching 50 runs but may return if other wickets fall.
“When five wickets are lost, the last batter continues with a runner, and the innings ends after the sixth wicket.”
Following a triumphant 2024 return after a seven-year break, the Hong Kong Sixes remains one of cricket’s most innovative and entertaining competitions.
Summary: The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 promises fast-paced cricket with 12 international teams competing in a dynamic six-a-side format, continuing a celebrated tradition of thrilling matches.
