Richmond midfielder Grace Egan has been advised to explore trade possibilities, with the Tigers confirming that the 25-year-old is open to opportunities at rival AFLW clubs.
Egan joined the Tigers from Carlton ahead of the 2022 season (season seven) and played nine matches in 2025 after dealing with a serious illness during pre-season and a lip injury in round two.
"[Egan was] encouraged in her exit interview to explore her options," said Tigers AFLW list manager Trent Mosbey. "At this stage, our conversations with Grace have been about her exploring opportunities elsewhere. We will work through that and what a suitable trade could look like."
Mosbey confirmed there is no guarantee Egan will remain in Richmond’s lineup next season. Meanwhile, the club has delisted Charley Ryan, Lauren Brazzale, and Lulu Beatty.
Melbourne senior assistant coach Shae Sloane joined the W Show to discuss the 2025 All-Australian squad, the Dees' upcoming qualifying final, and other developments around the league.
Elsewhere, Hawthorn faces concerns over several key players’ fitness ahead of its semi-final next week, while North Melbourne continues to celebrate its landmark Grand Final win from December 2024.
Grace Egan is set to consider trade options after a challenging season; Richmond reshapes its AFLW roster while other clubs prepare for finals action.
