Remembrance Day Garbage Collection Advisory

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment announces that garbage collection will not occur on Tuesday, November 11, due to the Remembrance Day holiday.

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment is advising that household waste will not be collected on the Remembrance Day holiday, Tuesday, November 11.

Garbage scheduled for Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, initiating a 'roll-over' schedule that concludes with Friday's waste collected on Saturday.

Recycling collection remains on its regular schedule: west end on Thursday and east end on Friday.

Residents can also bring household waste and recycling to the Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off, open Tuesday, November 11, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, then returning to its usual hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
