This arrangement was based on a formal agreement signed in May 2014. The company had been serving meals to workers for over ten years before the contract was suddenly ended in September 2025.

According to the writ of summons submitted by her lawyer, Ebenezer Kwame Akomaning of Roseford Advocates, the caterer was accused of “canteen malpractice.” The claim involved a worker allegedly recording attendance for meals that were never eaten.

“The Plaintiff avers that under the said agreement; the Plaintiff was engaged as an independent caterer to provide subsidized meals to workers of the 1st Defendant at its Kasunya site for a consideration payable monthly in arrears.”
