Seven Australians took to the NBA Cup courts today, led by Dyson Daniels, who posted a season-high 18 points.

Dyson Daniels contributed strongly for the Atlanta Hawks, playing the first 13 minutes and starting hot. Early in the second quarter, he was 4-of-6 for 10 points, alongside three rebounds, an assist, and two steals, helping the Hawks lead 41-39.
The Hawks dominated the Indiana Pacers 128-108, improving their record to 3-3, while the Pacers remain winless at 0-5.
Daniels recorded a +13 efficiency rating. Although his offense started slow this season, his elite defense continues to set him apart among the NBA's top perimeter defenders.
He is also adjusting to the Hawks' offense changes with the addition of Kristaps Porziņģis.
Second-year Australian wing Johnny Furphy did not play for the Indiana Pacers in this game.
"He has started the season a little sluggish on the offensive side of the ball while his elite defense continues to separate him for the rest of the NBA's best perimeter defenders."
Author's summary: Josh Giddey shines with a career-high 32 points as Dyson Daniels leads seven Australians showing strong performances in the NBA Cup.
