Popular Salem Restaurant Closing After 7 Years
The Derby Restaurant & Bar, a well-loved spot in downtown Salem, is closing and changing ownership after nearly seven years. The current management will cease operations by Monday, Dec. 1, as new owners take over.

Looking Ahead
The Derby is assisting its current staff with finding new job opportunities. Despite being forced to temporarily close in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant revived with strong community support.
