Actor and comedian Eddie Izzard announced she will take her show The Tragedy of Hamlet to Australia in June 2026. This one-person performance follows sold-out seasons in the US and UK.

Adapted by Mark Izzard and directed by Selina Cadell, the production features Eddie Izzard portraying all 23 characters in Shakespeare's tragedy. These range from men, women, ghosts, scholars, tyrants, courtiers, lovers, fools, to poets.
