Returned missionaries gathered in Tokyo, Japan, to deepen their faith and learn how to apply discipleship in daily life. The event took place at the Tokyo Japan Temple annex in Hiroo on October, bringing together recently returned missionaries from across the country.
The workshop focused on the theme “Continuing the Journey of Lifelong Discipleship.” It aimed to bring joy and purpose to attendees by strengthening their conversion to Jesus Christ and His gospel.
One session focused on life after the mission, addressing spiritual habits, goal setting, education, careers, dating, and marriage to help prepare for the future. The workshop highlighted the challenges young adults face after returning and assured them that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ provide strength even when peers are scarce.
“I try to be the same person whether I’m alone, with family and friends, at work or at church.”
Participants were encouraged to deepen their communication with God through prayer and maintain consistent spiritual practices.
The Tokyo workshop helped returned missionaries reconnect with their faith, reinforcing lifelong discipleship and equipping them for challenges ahead.
