The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has planned a 9.678-kilometre-long and 30-metre-wide arterial road linking the airport to key nodes such as Belapur and Nerul. This development is expected to improve regional traffic flow and stimulate economic growth throughout Navi Mumbai.
Key Access Points and Features
- Direct access to the International Corporate Park (ICP) modeled after the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC)
- Linkages to the Kharghar Golf Course and FIFA-standard Centre of Excellence (COE)
- A grade-separated interchange over the Sion-Panvel Expressway to reduce congestion and ensure smooth connectivity between the airport and major hubs
Development Scope
Out of the total road length, approximately 7 kilometres will involve new development, forming a vital transportation corridor for Navi Mumbai’s urban expansion plans.
