Plot Overview
The film follows Charlisa “Charlie” Jones, portrayed by Tran, whose bold persona and fierce lyrics attract more attention than her music’s harmony. After serving time in jail, Charlie is sentenced to community service with Pastor Kyrus Owens (Mark J.P. Hood), a devoted leader raising funds for a new church building.

Karrueche’s Preparation
“I’m not musically inclined in any way,” Karrueche shared with Celeb Secrets at the Raising Cane’s Giant Pumpkin Unveiling Event in Hollywood. “But it was a great challenge. I studied a rapper named Lola Brooke, I prepared myself, and I did it.”
