According to Variety, citing information from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the production company Trailer Park Boys Inc. released a statement acknowledging the situation and clarifying Smith’s current status.
“We are aware of the allegation concerning Mike Smith,” the company said. “He has stepped away from his position as managing director. We recognise how difficult an allegation of this nature is for all involved. Out of respect for the legal process, we will not comment further on the case.”
