The actor who plays Bubbles on Trailer Park Boys, Mike Smith, has been charged with sexual assault in Nova Scotia. The Nova Scotia Public Prosecution Service informed Acadia Broadcasting that Smith is scheduled for arraignment in November.
Court documents obtained by Acadia Broadcasting reveal the charge is connected to an alleged incident on December 30, 2017, in or near Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. "Trailer Park Boys, Inc. is aware of the allegation and Mike Smith has stepped away from his role as managing director of the company."
