Drama Based on Ann Lovett's Story
Written and directed by Ciaran Creagh and filmed in Boyle, County Roscommon, this drama unfolds over one day in the life of a 15-year-old girl in a small Irish town. Though fictional, it closely reflects the life and tragic death of Ann Lovett, who passed away on 31 January 1984, shortly after giving birth to her stillborn son near a church in Granard, County Longford.
Zara Devlin stars in the title role.

Twenty years after the original British cult classic, director Danny Boyle reunites the cast in this 2017 sequel. While it doesn't fully meet expectations, it remains an entertaining continuation of the story.
