LoL - Worlds: G2’s Scrim Performance Highlights
Sheep Esports provides expert analysis and updates on League of Legends Esports. Following the tradition after each split or major event, Romain Bigeard, General Manager of G2 Esports in the LEC, shared detailed scrim results from Worlds 2025.
Between October 3 and their quarterfinal exit against Top Esports on October 30, G2 completed an intense scrim schedule, playing 129 games in 35 blocks. Their overall winrate stood at 54.2%, with 70 wins and 59 losses.
Scrim Performance Against Different Regions
Examining their scrims by region highlights which opponents G2 finds challenging on stage:
- LPL: G2 struggled against LPL teams, recording only one best-of-one win against BiliBili Gaming in Round 2. Invictus Gaming dealt them their worst single scrim block defeat early on with a 1–6 loss.
- LTA: G2 faced FlyQuest three times, winning only the stage match that truly mattered.
- LCK: South Korea proved more manageable; G2 scrimmed LCK the most overall. Interestingly, Hanwha Life Esports was the only LCK team G2 did not scrim.
