On Sunday night, six people were shot and one man was killed in three separate shooting incidents across New York City, according to authorities.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call in a building between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven. They found three male victims, including a teenager, who had been shot.
All three victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital and were reported to be in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
Just 20 minutes earlier, officers arrived at a residence on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Street in Whitestone, where multiple people had been shot.
Both were transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Police recovered a firearm at the scene and continue to investigate.
Among the three incidents, one man was killed in a separate shooting in the Bronx, adding to the violent night across the city.
