Kenneth Lam, 57, a Hong Kong human rights lawyer, faces prosecution over accusations of sexually assaulting and intimidating a domestic helper earlier this year.
Lam appeared at Kowloon City Court for the second time on Monday, confronting three counts of indecent assault and one count of criminal intimidation. The alleged offences took place at a flat in Jordan's Takshing Terrace from July 2 to July 9, as stated in the charge sheet.
The lawyer was granted bail set at HK$5,000 (US$643) and is expected to enter a plea at the District Court.
Lam specializes in personal injury claims and has a reputation for being outspoken on legal issues.
