On November 10, Toyota unveiled the new Hilux, featuring a new BEV model, at an event hosted by Toyota Motor Asia (TMA) in Bangkok, Thailand. The rollout in Asia is planned to begin sequentially from 2026 onward.

For models destined for Japan, including a planned diesel version, the launch is expected in mid-2026.

"Toyota is committed to product- and region-centered management with the aim of making ever-better cars. In developing powertrain systems to achieve carbon neutrality, various types of mobility are being introduced as part of Toyota's multi-pathway approach."
