Queensland Police Service Mourns Ian Leavers APM
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Ian Leavers APM, who served as Queensland Cross-Border Commissioner, former President of the Queensland Police Union of Employees (QPUE), and former QPS member.
Mr. Leavers was found deceased around 9:50 am at a Mount Ommaney residence after police were called to the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious, with investigations ongoing.
