Channing Tatum, known for playing Gambit, expressed immense admiration for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film. With most details still under wraps, Tatum is on a mission to build excitement for the MCU crossover.
“Look, everyone in the world is going to see this movie,” Tatum told Deadline. “It's hard to say this because, I mean, you hear these things and go, 'Of course'. But they've topped themselves every time. This will be the biggest movie of next year and maybe even the next 10 years.”
Tatum’s enthusiasm comes from reading the initial script and witnessing the production firsthand. Although cautious to avoid spoilers, he hinted at the film’s ambitious scope and praised the directors.
“The scope of it, what they're trying to do… what the Russos have cooked up – when I read it, I was just like, 'How are they going to do this?'. It was an Everest of a mountain to climb. I am still in awe,” he said.
Despite a hamstring injury that sidelined him during filming, Tatum emphasized his action role is just a fraction of his involvement, suggesting the X-Men will play an active part in the story.
“I do so much action in this movie, but that was just a small part,” Tatum recalled, hinting at significant X-Men engagement.
Channing Tatum anticipates Avengers: Doomsday will become the biggest film of the coming decade, impressed by the scale and ambition of the project.
