Airbus delivered 78 aircraft in October 2025, bringing its total for the year to 585. However, with 235 more needed to reach its annual target of 820, the company may find the goal difficult to achieve.
The European manufacturer continues to raise its monthly output, with 78 aircraft handed over to 36 customers in October, compared to 73 deliveries to 41 customers in September. According to Airbus’ latest report, it has provided 585 aircraft to 85 customers so far in 2025.
The planemaker aims for around 820 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2025. To meet this target, it must deliver over 200 aircraft in the final two months of the year, despite persistent supply chain disruptions such as engine shortages.
In October 2025, Airbus recorded 112 gross orders, a substantial recovery following a weaker September, when only 10 orders were logged compared to 99 in August. Overall, gross orders for 2025 have reached 722 aircraft.
"Airbus’ total gross orders so far in 2025 have reached 722 aircraft, which includes 521 single-aisle jets plus 111 A350 and 90 A330 widebody jets."
Airbus showed steady production progress in 2025 but faces mounting pressure to meet its ambitious 820-jet target amid supply chain bottlenecks.
