The Broadway revival of David Auburn’s Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Proof will premiere at the Booth Theatre on March 31, 2026. The production is directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail and stars Emmy and SAG Award winner Samira Wiley making her Broadway debut as Claire.
Grammy nominee Jin Ha will return to the Broadway stage in the role of Hal, joining previously announced stars Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle in the cast.
A Juilliard graduate, Wiley recently returned to the London stage in the Donmar Warehouse production of Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel. She previously appeared in the National Theatre’s Blues For An Alabama Sky and starred Off-Broadway in the 2016 production of Daphne’s Dive at the Signature Theatre.
