The Odyssey’s Elliot Page is glad to have the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan again now that he’s his true self

The Odyssey’s Elliot Page on Reuniting with Christopher Nolan

Elliot Page expresses great enthusiasm about working with Christopher Nolan again in The Odyssey. Having previously collaborated on Nolan’s 2010 film Inception, Page reflects on the deeper satisfaction of this reunion now that he is living as his true self.

A Unique Experience

Page shares his excitement about being invited back to work with Nolan at New York Comic Con:

“I was so excited to be thought of for it and to be asked to come back to work with him. I loved working with him on Inception and loved being a part of that movie. I was just completely jazzed and excited. I basically went and met with Chris and talked about the part and then sat in a room and read the script, and you know, it was of course a big 'Yes.'”

Feeling More Comfortable

Coming out as a trans man in 2020 has made this project even more meaningful for Page:

“Sadly, I can’t say much. But it was such a joy to come back, and to come back now, as you can imagine, being more comfortable in yourself makes these sorts of projects more enjoyable, just waking up every day and going to work. To kind of get to have a more Chris Nolan experience again now, that actually really meant so much to me.”

Anticipating an Epic Film

Page hints at the scale and excitement of the upcoming movie:

“I got to go to some pretty awesome places. It’s going to be extraordinary.”

The Odyssey is scheduled for release on July 17, 2026.

Author’s summary: Elliot Page values the chance to work with Christopher Nolan again on The Odyssey, feeling empowered and more authentic in his identity while anticipating an extraordinary film.
