Surrey M25 Crash Causes 30-Minute Delays

Drivers were warned to expect significant delays on the clockwise M25 after a crash this morning near junctions 5 and 7. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Surrey Police confirmed the collision involved four vehicles near junction 7 shortly after 6:15 am. A spokesperson said:

“We were made aware of a collision involving four vehicles near J7 of the clockwise carriageway of the M25 shortly after 6.15am this morning. No injuries were reported, and the call was passed to National Highways.”

Traffic monitoring site Inrix noted slow traffic remains between junction 5 (Sevenoaks) and junction 7 (M23), with travel times around 30 minutes due to the earlier incident at approximately 6:30 am.

National Highways has since reported that delays have eased, now down to about 10 minutes, and traffic conditions are returning to normal.

National Highways and Surrey Police continue to monitor the situation closely.
