First Five Minutes of New Stranger Things Revealed
Fans of Stranger Things can now experience the first five minutes of the highly anticipated fifth and final season, which will premiere on November 27. The exclusive preview, titled “The Crawl,” was unveiled during the Stranger Things 5 Virtual Watch Party, held in celebration of the annual Stranger Things Day on November 6.
The event also introduced the upcoming animated spinoff, Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85, produced by Sydney-based Flying Bark Productions and set for release next year.
A Glimpse Back to 1983
The preview transports viewers to November 12, 1983—six days after Will Byers, portrayed by Noah Schnapp, vanished into the Upside Down. The clip captures Will hiding in the eerie shadow-world, clutching to hope as he hums a familiar tune to calm himself.
“At long last, we can begin.”
Moments later, the Demogorgon emerges from the darkness, pursuing Will through a haunted forest and up an ancient tree. The scene closes with Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower, confronting a trapped and unconscious Will as the tension escalates.
