A bill has been introduced to the Russian State Duma proposing an increase in monthly salaries for conscripts serving in the Armed Forces, FSB, and Rosgvardiya.
Delyagin indicated that implementing the salary increase would require an additional 16.8 billion rubles annually. The funding for this would be diverted from the government’s Reserve Fund.
"A draft law has been submitted to the Russian parliament proposing to raise the monthly base salary for conscripted servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, FSB, and Rosgvardiya from 2,758 to 7,500 rubles."
If approved, the salary adjustments would be implemented following standard procedures.
This bill aims to nearly triple conscripts’ monthly pay in Russia, with funding planned from the Reserve Fund, reflecting growing support from the Defense Ministry.
