On November 6, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office North Area Substation in Buttonwillow responded to reports of fraudulent credit card activity totaling thousands of dollars at a truck stop on Lagoon Drive. Investigators identified four suspects who stole diesel fuel using three trucks and several containers, including fuel tanks and water bottles.
Arrest and Evidence
- Yasel Yedra Rodriguez, 42, of Houston, and Yoagner Torres Rodriguez, 42, of Las Vegas, were arrested. Authorities recovered computers and devices used for credit card skimming.
- The third truck was located, leading to the arrest of Rolando Martin Santos, 37, and Aneysi Afonso Amuedo, 34, both from Houston. Electronic equipment for skimming was also found.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
All four individuals face charges including fraudulent credit card use, altering credit card information, grand theft, and conspiracy. They were booked into Lerdo Jail.
