The GAA Navan O’Mahonys' Peil For All team hosted their year-end exhibition game at Paddy O’Brien Park earlier this month. This initiative, led by Kate O’Neill and now in its fourth year, continues to grow successfully.
Since March, about 20 adult players have trained weekly, with additional participants from various sections of the club joining the match. The game provided an excellent chance for players to demonstrate the skills they developed throughout the year.
After the match, Meath Ladies goalkeeper Robyn Murray and Meath Ladies under-20 captain Sarah Maguire awarded medals to the players. Coach Aaron Coyle also presented personalised gear, funded by his participation in the 2024 Dublin Marathon.
This event marked the conclusion of a remarkable year for the team, which included a training session held on the iconic Croke Park grounds.
“This initiative is going from strength to strength,” said Kate O’Neill, the programme's spearhead.
